SOS is a pre-launch service. This policy explains what we collect when you join our waitlist and how we handle it, consistent with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act").

What we collect

• Your mobile number
• Your city and, if you choose to give it, your pincode
• The occasion you'd use SOS for (optional)
• Basic campaign info from the link you used (for example utm_source), if present

Why we collect it

Only to send you a one-time SMS or WhatsApp message when SOS launches in your city, and to understand which cities and occasions to launch first. We do not use your details for anything else without asking you.

Consent

We process your data on the basis of the consent you give by ticking the box on the form. You can withdraw it at any time by emailing us — we'll then delete your details.

We never sell your data

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data. It is stored securely with our hosting provider and accessible only to the SOS team.

How long we keep it

Until SOS launches in your city and we've sent the notification, or until you ask us to delete it — whichever comes first.

Your rights

Under the DPDP Act you can ask to access, correct or erase your data, and to withdraw consent. Email hello@[yourdomain] from any address, mentioning the mobile number you signed up with, and we'll act on it within a reasonable time.
